There are of course a host of factors which can really make a holiday or a hotel stay. When we’re looking to book a hotel, the facilities, price, the star rating perhaps along with reviews of the level of service might play a part. But the thing that lasts a long time in the memory when we leave is so often the view. Loews San Francisco, USA
This was previously the famous Mandarin Oriental, bought out by Loews in 2015 as part of a large re-branding project. They certainly got their hands on some prime property in a great location. Importantly as well, it has a stunning view. With rooms looking out over the bay at San Francisco. Ideal for enjoying sunsets and for watching that iconic San Fran fog rolling in off the sea. The hotel consists of 158 rooms, 5000 square feet of meeting space and an 8000 square foot spa.
Hotel Salto Chico
Located in Patagonia, Chile at the base of South America is the Hotel Salto Chico. Patagonia is one of the least populated areas in the world and this hotel enjoy remarkable views over this tranquil but imposing landscape. Those seeking some isolation and tranquillity are in the right place in this peaceful location and the rooms enjoy exceptional views.
The Swan, Wells, Somerset England
This charming hotel is located in Wells, in Somerset in England. In a region that is well known for its honey coloured stone and gentle country scenery, the hotel enjoys quintessentially English views out over Wells Cathedral. The 49 metre tall tower and the typically coloured stone work makes Wells Cathedral one of the prettiest in the country and with construction on the Cathedral beginning back in the twelfth century, there’s plenty of history to soak up in the vicinity.

St Lucia is one of the most visited islands in the Caribbean, which is itself one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Rome Cavalieri Waldorf Atoria, Italy
